I'm still getting used to the forum, so I apologize if any of my suggestions are already being utilized.
I am a member of Dieselplace.com. I really like their forum lay out. It's extremely user friendly.
1) When a post is made, that topic is moved to the top of the list. So if a 2 year old topic has a new post added to it, it is bumped to the top so that everyone is aware.
2) There is a link to quickly find all posts that I have created and another to find all posts I've replied to
3) Everyone has a "Garage". Here you can list all your vehicles and toys individually and are able to post all information about that vehicle, as well as numerous pictures.
4) In the market place you must close out old ads. This keeps it from getting clustered with ads for items that are sold or no longer for sale.
5) Every time you log in, posts that have been made since your last log in are in bright bold blue. This makes it easy to know where you left off.
6) I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I still haven't been able to figure out the avatar or posting pictures in threads. I had no issue doing it on Dieselplace. There I was able to attach a pic right off my computer as an avatar, and in threads there is an attachment paper clip to pull files right off the computer as well.

Thanks

I have the answer for #2. If you look towards the upper right corner of the screen it says View new post/View your posts. That will show whats been posted since your last visit and of course the other shows your post. I also like the View active topics towards the upper left corner of the page. I believe in the forums in the left column there is a bell or something that is orange when there is a new post. Hope this helps you some.
